Condolence & Memory Journal

All of our family love Kristy and Lee. We have wonderful memories of Kristy as a beautiful and loving new mother, as a devoted sweetheart and friend to her husband, as a gentle teacher in a neighborhood summer school, as a brilliant, capable woman. She set an amazing standard of faith and courage as she lived her commitment to serving her family and her God even through the challenges of her years with ALS. She and Lee accepted their challenges with grace and resourcefulness, working together as always. Lee, we pray for your awareness of the love that surrounds you and wish for the peace that passeth all understanding for you and all your remarkable family. Our love always,
The Bill Berge family

Kristy was the organizer for the best birthday I ever had. I was just thinking about her the other day, remembering our Catch-22 fun, her exuberance for life, her sweetness to everyone. She was the most fun of all of us Olympians. I am crying as I write, but I know if anyone is by Christ's side it will be Kristy! My condolences to all who loved her.

Kristy exuded beauty, intelligence and vitality in the Olympus High School Class of 1972, in Salt Lake City. It is hard for me to think of her in any other way, than vibrant, positive and vivacious. She was a rare beauty in all ways. My sympathies are with you all. A friend, Carol Smedley, Class of '72.
